Harman, Tool Being

Tool-Being by Graham Harman develops an object-oriented interpretation of Martin Heidegger’s philosophy. Harman argues that objects always withdraw from direct access and can never be fully reduced to their practical use or their observable properties. The book presents reality as composed of autonomous entities whose deeper essence remains partially hidden in every interaction.
